Start with yellow yarn 
	Round 1: 6sc into mr 
	Round 2: *inc* x6 [12] 
		*Repeat stitch 6 times 
	Round 3: *sc, inc* x6 [18] 
	Round 4: *2sc, inc* [24] 
	Round 5: *3sc, inc* [30] 
	Round 6: *4sc, inc* [36] 
	Round 7: sc around [36] 
	Attach safety eyes and embroider face 
	*Add face to center as you see fit. To keep the smile in place, loop in the center to hold it down. Tie knot together on inside, making sure it is not too tight. 
	Change to black 
	Round 8-9: sc around [36]
	Change to yellow 
	Round 10-11: sc around [36] 
	Change to black 
	Round 12-13: sc around [36] 
	Change to yellow 
	Round 14-15: sc around [36] 
	Change to black 
	Round 16-17: sc around [36] 
	Change to yellow 
	Round 18: sc around [36] 
	Round 19: *4sc, dec* x6 [30] 
	Round 20: *3sc, dec* x6 [24] 
	Round 21: *2sc, dec* x6 [18] 
	Stuff the body 
	*Make sure to pack stuffing tighter than you would think. If it isn't stuffed enough, the bee will easily loose its shape. Be sure to stuff a little more right before closing. 
	Round 22: *sc, dec* x6 [12] 
	Round 23: *dec* x6 [6] 
	Cut long string of yarn and run end around the outside loops of last 6 stitches. Pull closed and weave in end.
	
Wings are made with a single crochet for round 1, half double crochet for round 2, and double crochet for round 3. 
	Using white yarn: 
	Round 1: 6sc in mr [6] 
	Round 2: *hdc inc* x6 [12] 
	Round 3: *dc, dc inc* x6 [18] 
	Join with sl st and cut yarn leaving a long tail to sew to body. 
	Sew wings to the middle of the 2nd black stripe.
