Round 6: *5sc, inc* x2 [36]

Cut long string of yarn for sewing. With pink yarn, make 2 lines for the cheeks between rounds 9 and 10. Make the mouth between rounds 10 and 12.

EYES (MAKE 2)

Using green

Round 3: *10sc* [10]
Cut long string of yarn for sewing. Do not stuff the eyes. Place safety eyes between rounds 3 and 4. Sew eyes on the head between rounds 3 and 7.

BODY

Cut long string of yarn for sewing.

ARMS (MAKE 2)

Using green yarn
Round 1: 5sc in mr [5]
Round 2: *sc, inc* x2 [10]
Round 3-7: *10sc* [10]
Round 8: *4sc, dec* x2 [8]
Round 9-10: *8sc* [8]
Cut long string for sewing. Sew the arms on the sides of the body between rounds 12-13.

LEGS

Using green yarn Round 1: 6sc in mr [6]
Round 2: *sc, inc* x2 [12]
Round 3-5: *12sc* [12]
Round 6: *5sc, dec* [10]
Round 7-9: *10sc* [10], ch 1, turn, flatten the piece and close it up working 5sc.
Cut long string for sewing. Sew the legs on the sides of the body between rounds 4 and 8.

OPTION 1: MUSHROOM BERET

Using red yarn
Round 1: 6sc in mr [6]
Round 2: *sc, inc* x2 [12]
Round 3: *2sc, inc* x2 [18]
Round 4-5: *18sc* [18]
Round 6: *5sc, dec* x2 [15]
Cut long string for sewing.

Beret Stem
Chain 3
Round 1: 2 sl st
Cut string for sewing. Sew to the center outside of the beret. With white yarn make little lines around the beret to mock a mushroom. Sew the beret on the head of your frog.

OPTION 2: COWBOY HAT

Using pink yarn
Round 1: 7sc in mr [7]
Round 2: *sc, inc* x2 [14]
Round 3-4: *14sc* [14]
Round 5: *2sc, inc* [21]
Round 6-7: *21sc* [21]
Round 8: FLO *3sc, inc* [28]
Round 9: *28sc* [28]
Cut long string for sewing. Give shape to your hat by pushing down the center. For the strap, grab a piece of yarn (make sure it is long enough to fit around your head) and with a tapestry needle, attach one end on one side through the inside of your hat and the other end on the opposite side of the hat.
